Redesign Wimbledon Town Centre for 2030

Rising stars

Open to individuals who are: soon to be qualified or qualified professionals in the disciplines: urban design, town planning, architecture, landscape design, built environment consultancy.

First prize: £3,000 honorarium.

Other prizes: A further £2,000 to be distributed at the discretion of the judging panels.

The organisers will look to appoint the winner for a minimum of 18 months as a Design Champion to advise on design matters and support the masterplanning process.
Creative communities

Open to local people and businesses, as well as creative thinkers globally. This can be both an individual or group entry, without the requirement of any professional qualifications.

Prize: £2,000 to be divided between the different winners at the discretion of the judging panels, with the minimum award of £1,000 to one community organisation.
How to enter

Your submission can take the form of any format you want, whether it is a poem, song, abstract sketch or scale plans and 3D animations. Download the brief here. Please note all competition rules and terms and conditions are listed within the brief.

Design Council have put together a stellar cross-disciplinary judging panel, including: Wayne Hemingway, Paul Finch, Morag Myerscough and Alison Brooks.
