Architektur ist ortsgebunden! Architektur schafft neue Räume! Architektur entsteht aus einem Genius loci! Den Kontext eines zu entwerfenden Gebäudes mit einzubeziehen, gehört quasi zum kategorischem Imperativ des Architekten. Bei solch einem fundamentalen Sujet wundert es nicht, dass der Landschaftsverband Westfalen Lippe (LWL) und der BDA Münster seit nunmehr schon neun Jahren in einer Vortragsreihe dem Thema Architektur im Kontext nachgehen. Referenten sind Städtebauer, Architekten, Landschaftsarchitekten und Ingenieure.

Mit ihrem jährlich vergebenen ArchitektenAWARD richtet sich Heinze nicht nur an einige wenige Top-Büros, die sich die oft aufwändigen Bewerbungsverfahren vieler anderer Preise leisten können. Statt dessen sind gerade kleinere Büros zur Teilnahme aufgerufen, denn was zählt, sind nicht Renommee oder Bauvolumen, sondern allein die gestalterische Qualität der Projekte. Diese können kostenlos und mit wenig Zeitaufwand eingereicht werden.

Feuer, Eis und All - Campus Masters des Jahres entschieden

Drei Plätze und ein Sonderpreis sind das Ergebnis der Jahresjurysitzung der Campus Masters 2015. Zwanzig Abschlussarbeiten standen vergangenen Freitag im Finale, darunter sieben Bachelor-, neun Master- und vier Diplomentwürfe. Das Jurorenkomitee mit Benedikt Schulz (Schulz und Schulz Architekten, Leipzig), Jan Kampshoff (modulorbeat, Münster) und Michaela Boguhn (Redaktion BauNetz Wissen) ermittelte folgende Preise:

1. Preis: The Firebreak Garden von Frédéric Bouvier, Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne
