Wettbewerbsaufgabe
Neubau eines vielseitig nutzbaren städtischen Blockes auf der Parzelle der ehemaligen Messehalle 3. Das Programm umfasst die Realisierung von preisgünstigem Wohnraum hauptsächlich für Familien, ein spezielles Wohnangebot mit Kleinwohnungen, die Nachbarschaft ergänzenden Nutzungen wie Doppelkindergarten, Tagesstruktur, Dienstleistungs- und Gewerbeflächen sowie ein Quartierparking.

Im selektiven Verfahren soll einerseits ein geeignetes Planungsteam und andererseits ein innovatives, städtebauliches und architektonisch überzeugendes Projekt mit vorbildlicher Gestaltung und Ökobilanz gefunden werden.
